An All Maharashtra & Goa Marathi Camp was held at Chinmaya Vibhooti from 4 to 9 April 2014. This unique camp had 7 Swamins and around 200 devotees from centres like Mumbai, Thane, Mulund, Kalyan, Dombivli, Pune, Nashik, Sangli, Jalgaon, Udgir, Aurangabad, Ponda and Madgaon attended it.
It was for the first time that so many Swamins came together to conduct a camp. In fact, many campers requested Swami Advaitanandaji to hold such a camp every year!
While Swami Advaitanandaji took classes on Ramaraksha Stotra and a portion of Ramcharitmanas, Swami Medhajananda of Khopoli conducted sessions on Meditation every morning in addition to two other sessions. Other Swamins who conducted sessions were Siddheshanandaji (of Pune), Pratyayanandaji (of Nanded), Kirtananandaji (of Pune), Chitprabhanandaji (of Jalgaon) and Sughoshanandaji (of Ponda).
Another highlight of the camp was the Sri Rama Navami celebrations on 8th. The altar was tastefully decorated and a picture of baby Rama in a cradle was unveiled at noon amidst loud chants of “Siyavar Ramachandra Ki Jai”!!
The Valedictory session saw all Swamins perform the Paduka Puja of Pujya Gurudev. The camp concluded with the Guru Dakshina ceremony and all campers returned to their respective centres with their hearts full of joy!
