Chinmaya Balavihar Summer Camp “LEAD – 2014” was organised by the Devi group and Chyks members of Madurai Chinmaya Mission ​,​ from April 20 to 27, 2014 . 160 students in the age group of 7 to 13 years,  from various areas of the city participated in the camp.  ​ ​The camp was inaugurated by Mr.and Mrs. Kannan, Mg. Director of Madurai Radha Travels. He expressed his admiration towards the activities of the various wings of the Mission, in his inaugural address.
The camp started daily at 9.30 a.m and ended by 3.30 p.m. and the children were taught Pooja, Vedic Chanting, Value Mining, Bhajans, Culturals, Craft, Games and Yoga, by the faculty members.​’Transforming Indians to Transform India’​, was the basic theme of this year camp.
The Children also taken to Sivananda Tapovanam, Thoppur ​,​ as a field trip and Swami Sivananda Sundarandaji of ​’​Divine Life Society ​’​, blessed the participants.
On the Valedictory day ‘Mathru Pooja’ was organised.. Mr.and Mrs. Sundaravel , Mg. Director, Indian Foods, participated and enjoyed the cultural activities of the students. The feed back from the parents and children were very encouraging.Refreshments and food was arranged to all the parents and their children on the concluding day.
With the blessings of Swami Sivayoganandaji and  ​with ​ the co-operation of Brni. Gomathi, the camp was well organised by Devi Group, Chyks and the members of ​ Madurai​ Chinmaya Mission.
