Pranams to Pujya Guruji and Acharyas..
With the grace of Pujya Gurudev and with the blessings of Pujya Guruji,Chinmaya Mission Sivakasi started it’s Seva..The first official program is LEAD children summer camp held at Shruthi Vidyodhaya school for 5 days from May 25-29.
The camp started by 10 a.m and ended by 3 p.m everyday.26 children of age group 7-13 actively participated in the camp. Daily sessions include Puja,Yoga,values,slokas,bhajans,craft and games.
Children visited the nearest temple one day. On the valedictory day, children performed Matru Puja followed by a small cultural programme. Camp kit,refreshments and certificates were provided to all participants.
In continuation to this camp, it has been planned to start balvihar weekly classes. It has also been planned to conduct Chinmaya Gita chanting competition for schools in and around Sivakasi.
With the guidance and support of Chinmaya Mission Madurai, Sivakasi center successfully organised it’s first activity.
