On Line Gita Jnana Yajna

Pujya Swami Aparajitananda of Mangalore center conducted an online Gita Jnana Yajna in English from 4th to 10th Aug 2020 on Assurances given by the Lord in Bhagavad Gita.

Pujya Swamiji stressed the firm assurance given by the Lord to protect and uplift any devotee who took refuge in Him with sincerity and single-pointed devotion irrespective of their shortcomings and even sinful deeds. This is possible only with the complete surrender of Ego as it prevents one from recognizing the true nature by enveloping it just as a small cloud having its origin from the Sun hides the Sun. Absolute faith in the Lord is necessary for Him to work through us and free us from all suffering. We need to understand that we need not become infinite; we are by nature infinite. It is necessary to detach from the lower nature & bad thoughts and try to get rid of the jiva bhava attaching to the higher nature and noble thoughts. This leads to detachment from the body, mind, and intellect and realization of the fact that outer objects can never contribute peace of mind as our very inner nature is an ocean of infinite peace and joy paving way for living a life of Jeevanmukta.

The Yajna was very well attended by hundreds of sadhaks daily.
