This year, 8th May 2015 to 8th May 2016, the Chinmaya family worldwide celebrates the 100th year birth anniversary of Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayananda, the great Mahatma under whose guidance Chinmaya Mission was formed in 1953. Join us for the UK launch of the Birth Centenary Celebrations at Chinmaya Kirti in Hendon on 8th May 2015 when we will be commemorating Gurudev Jayanti, the day marking the birth of Swami Chinmayananda. This year’s celebrations will be particularly special and unique. As a sneak peak, the evening’s festivities will include an explanation in English of the meaning of the 108 names of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, commonly chanted during Paduka Pujas. In addition, we will also be treated to a Guided Meditation session led by Pujya Gurudev himself. Be sure to join us. All are, of course, welcome.
