Start Date : 07 May 2016
TO End Date : 09 May 2016
As Chinmaya family, we are all part of a big celebration on Sunday that we have been talking about for almost a year! The Center is looking festive and beautiful.
I have assumed that every single teacher will be there on Sunday for Gurudev’s blessings and participate in all programs regardless of what session he/she teaches.! It is also Mother’s day on Sunday! So, let us take a break from the Sunday routine and celebrate the day! Many of our Chinmaya family members from all 4 Centers have put in a lot of effort. Nothing will please them more than your 100% participation.
If you have not signed up to volunteer for any help, you can still help on Sunday with many simple tasks.Looks like we do not have enough volunteers to help children with OM bacelets and Gurudev’s masks. Please let me know if you can help for about an hour with these. All materials are ready. You only need to help the children to put them together!
Guru paduka Pooja starts at 8 am . Please join the Pooja even if you have not signed up as a sponsor!
Ganga stotram by BV teachers will be during 10.30 am to 11.30 am. Lady teachers! please collect a string of jasmine flowers from Lakshmi ji before or after the pooja.
His Holiness Swami Tyaganandaji, resident Acharya of Ramakrishna Vedanta Society, Boston, will be the guest of honor. Swami Tyaganandaji is a well-known speaker, a monk of the Ramakrishna Order, and the Hindu chaplain at both Harvard and MIT. He will address the audience for about 15 minutes.
