27th to 30th September: Meditation on the Gayatri Mantra
In Vedic science, mantras are powerful tools. They are unique forms of sound vibration. When used correctly and with full knowledge, they can have profound effects on one’s mind – perhaps none more so than the Gayatri Mantra. Mantras have a calming and purifying effect on the emotional mind.
The Gayatri Mantra's meaning is subtle and complex. Exploring and understanding it makes one’s rational intellect more brilliant.
And when both the emotional mind and rational intellect unite, the mantra can be meditated upon; revealing its deeper secrets and allowing the individual seeker to experience Oneness for themselves.
In these 4 evening talks in English in Wembley,
Swami Swaroopananda will take listeners through this process – teaching how the mantra should be chanted, exploring its subtler meaning and guiding listeners into mediation. For more information on these talks, please click
