Chinmaya Mission Hosur celebrated Guru Purnima on 9th July from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm. C-Vep ( Chinmaya Valuebased education prpgramme) students of Upasana, their parents and mission members were present to show their worshipful gratitude to our Guru Parampara. Invoking the grace and blessings of Guru Parampara, Paduka Puja was done to Sri Veda Vyasaji by chanting Veda Vyasa ashtothram while everyone repeated ” Om Sri Veda Vyasaya Namah”.
Chinmaya ashtothram also was chanted while everyone repeated ” Om Sri Chinmaya Sadgurave Namah ” 108 times . Bhajans were sung.Videos – “Salutation to our Gurus” & “Pehla Karo Pranam” were played. Aarathi was done and prasad was distributed. Around 150 devotees participated in the celebration.
