IS THE LORD THE SAME TO ALL?
For the Lord, all are equal.
He guides all beings towards prosperity and well being.
HOWEVER
depending on their nature…His guidance differs.
He
taught the Pandavas..
punished the Kauravas…
destroyed the demons…
But in every case, in fact blessed each of them.
Yet He:
-
sustains the entire creation;
-
ensures all beings get sustenance
-
makes sure the elements act according to their qualities.
To bless…is His very nature.
Just as the Sun does not shine or give light
but IS heat and light,
so too the Lord is Grace and Blessing.
About those who surrender to Him the Lord says…
“I become their willing slave.”
Like He …
-
hastened to Draupadi…
-
drove Arjuna’s chariot…
-
flew to Gajendra
YET WE DOUBT HIS LOVE ….
The Lord says I am the same for all,
none is hated by me or dear to me.
It is we who have separated from Him…
He is always with us.
He is willing to help all those…
that reach out to Him…
WHAT THEN IS DEVOTION TO GOD?
It is to:

surrender all our actions to the Lord
-
remember Him through the day
-
know He takes care
-
Even feel intense grief on forgetting Him
