What we get in the present is DESTINY…
What we do with what we get is self-effort.
SELF EFFORT is action done out of…
our free will or choice

Each moment in life we face
…one situation or the other.
Even though we have…
no control over the situation…
we choose how to deal with it.

Sant Ekanath had a supportive wife…
So he thanked God for her.
Sant Tukaram had a cantankerous wife…
he too thanked God for her…
as this prevented him from getting too attached to her

Each of them dealt with
their situation in a positive way.
It is best to know that in a given situation
we are only to act to the best
of our ability and knowledge…
WITH no expectation of the result.

At the end of the Bhagawad Gita…
Krishna says to Arjuna…“Do as you think fit.”
SOMETIMES we are not sure how to act…
the BEST then is to surrender
your free will to GOD as Arjuna did…

when he said “I shall do as you say!!!”

This kind of total surrender is
the greatest use of our choice
AND it is very difficult…!!!
