A grand reception with Panchavadhyam and Poornakumbham was accorded to Mukhya Swamiji, Pujya Swami Swaroopanandaji on His First Official Meeting organised by the CMECT, Greater Cochin and Chinmaya Mission, Ernakulam on 31st Jan. 2017 at TDM Hall, Ernakulam. The five Vidyalayas (Vaduthala, Tripunithura, Kannamaly, Kottayam, Alapuzha) and the College at Warriam Road worked in unison to make the event a memorable one. The Chief Sevak of CMECT – Greater Cochin, Sri. A Gopalakrishnan welcomed the august gathering which was followed by the Felicitations by Pujya Swami Vivikthanandaji, Regional Head of Chinmaya Mission, Kerala; Sri. Hibi Eden, MLA of Ernakulam and Sri. Suresh Mohan, the Chief Sevak of CSTK  and the Vote of Thanks by Sri. K K Appu, President Chinmaya Mission, Ernakulam.
Pujya Swami Swaroopanandaji began His address by stating that He was honoured to begin His Official Meetings at Ernakulam on that day, as it was the Ganesha Jayanthi, happier as it is the God’s own country – the land of sages and much happier as it is the birthplace of Pujya Gurudev. Much to Pujya Swamiji’s joy was to know that the Venue itself regards Pujya Gurudev as their reverent Patron. Pujya Swamiji expounded on the essence of ‘Exceeding Excellence’ inspiring one and all through anecdotes from the great epics, Bhagawath Gita and the Hanuman Chalisa.
The programme was well attended by CSTK Trustees, Acharyas, Mission Members, Teachers, students, Parents and the public. As the meeting reached its conclusion with the offerings of the Gurudakshina and the distribution of the Prasada Pusthika (Science in the Game of Life – Pujya Swami Swaroopanandaji), a sense of fulfilment was aroused in everyone present there. All of them left after having a sumptuous Bhiksha.
