A 10 days’ workshop on Spoken Sanskrit was organized in Chinmaya Prerana, Kharghar from 30th January to 8th February 2017, every evening 7:30-9:30 pm.
The workshop was conducted by the teachers of Sanskrit Bharati & saw a huge participation of more than 80 registered & dedicated people, coming from far places too such as Airoli & Chembur to Kharghar every evening. Each day was filled with a lot of learning & joy, as the facilitator spoke only in Sanksrit & gave opportunity to each member to speak. Making small & simple sentences in Sanskrit, learning a way to converse in Sanskrit & starting to think in Sanskrit are few things that they did during this workshop.
The enthusiasm was so much that on the last day, each participant presented a poem or a speech or a small skit in Sanksrit. Dinner was also organized for those who needed, as the time was late evening. Sanskrti Bharati teachers were very much impressed by the overall organization & have also started a weekly class in our ashram.
