About the Temple

Chinmaya Rama Mandir at Mandya houses the mystical and charming figures of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman. The serene surroundings with the marble flooring add to the beauty of Lord Rama, the one who dwells in every form. Swami Brahmananda, the Regional Head of Karnataka, laid the foundation stone on 15th September 1996. The Temple was inaugurated by Sri Jagadguru Balagangadhara Swami of Adi Chunchanagiri Mutt and Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda on 27th April 1997.
